SISA stands for SI (search inwards) Social Ambassadors. SISA is an initiative powered by SI Magazine and Beyond Mentors Community Care Initiative to train Nigeria younger generations on how to care for their communities. SI social ambassadors are young, vibrant and selfless Nigerian youths who will stop at nothing to continually contribute their quota to their communities in terms of promoting healthier environment, encouraging patriotism and upholding the rich Nigerian cultural values; thus, exorcising every form of ethnocentrism amongst the youths.
SI social ambassadors see beyond ethnicity, colour, educational background and religious differences. For SI social ambassadors, every Nigerian youth is a Nigerian and has equal rights as every citizen of Nigeria.
This programme is aimed at giving SI Magazine and its humanitarian endeavours presence. SI Magazine as a humanitarian media outfit promotes and projects humanitarian work as part of its ‘call to service’! And as such, needs the public to have a clearer understanding of its vision and mission as a media house.
Voluntary work is one aspect of our human endeavours we overlook, and as a media house we want it to be better appreciated and accepted.
With the help of experienced SI Mentors, staff members of SI Magazine Ltd and its partners, participants would be mentored, guided, and provided with resource materials to hone their leadership skills, community service participation and other activities designed to help impact on their communities.
