Khadijah Abdullahi-Iya is passionate about propagating social values; finding solutions to communal under-reported issues and bringing to the fore community concerns; identifying the rot in the society, laying emphasis on reviving African values; depicting the beautiful culture that needs to be preserved and provoking the need to discard the obsolete and barbaric culture, exposing the infrastructural deteriorating communities, and enlightening audiences about the potentials in our natural, conservational and touristic potentials in Nigeria and Africa.
Because of the world-class innovation embedded in the Magazine Application, the founder is a recipient of the Innovation Award of Africa – Women entrepreneurship and Leadership for Africa (WELA) 2014 – from China Europe International Business School on the 16th January 2016 in Ghana, West Africa.
Khadijah is also the founder/Executive Director of Beyond Mentors Inc.- a social enterprise, a unique for-profit, pro-governmental, non-political, human developmental organization. First conceived out of the need to address and prevent poverty from the cradle in Nigeria especially in Northern Nigeria. It is an exclusive initiative- started from 2007. Established and launched the Rags to Riches club in private schools in Abuja, now the club is inaugurated in 3 public schools in Kaduna state inaugurated over 90 students for leadership and financial literacy skills.
Daniel Udechukwu is a young, dynamic, vibrant and dedicated media practitioner who has proven his mettle in the industry. His professional brilliance earned him a sporadic promotion twice within a year from the position of a sub-Editor to Assistant Editor at LEADERSHIP Group. He was the acting Editor, Special Publications, Leadership Newspapers, which produces CEOConfidential, an insert of the LEADERSHIP Sunday title that celebrates great business personalities and gives voice to young entrepreneurs in Nigeria and Africa by virtue of showcasing their business enterprise to the world free of charge; Cognoscenti (Leadership Weekend insert); Foresight (Leadership Friday insert) and Etcetera (Leadership Sunday insert).
Udechukwu, a Chemical Engineering graduate from the prestigious Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho, started his career in the media world as a freelancer with the then weekly dailies based in Abuja – Standard Voice in 2009. He proceeded to LEADERSHIP Group in 2010 to proof read, also on freelance-basis. In 2011, he joined the Group on a permanent basis and has since then been on the rise.
His recent accomplishment was the development of contents for SI Magazine a multimedia magazine app – SI Magazine. His unprecedented achievement made the company draft him in as its Content Director to oversee the provision of contents and supervise its conformity to the original idea, concept & design of the magazine and House style.
Ruth Ehidiamen is a young, creative, energetic mind that’s at the start of her career. She enjoys reading, and is most comfortable writing. She refers to herself as a scribbler and scribbles under the name Tyaice Hilary.
The English Studies graduate from Benson Idahosa University, Benin, is a communicator. She strongly believes in the use of words to positively affect the minds of people and subsequently their actions
Aliyu Shehu is an ICT specialist with a work experience spanning over three years. He specialises on web design/development, graphic design, video/audio editing, database management, and computer hardware management. Several websites projects, app demo videos, SQL database management and graphic designs for various organisations are testaments to his professional skills.
