There was a time you were a child, you had dreams and aspirations for the future, some you may have actualised, others you may still be pursuing but… what is the story of the average African child?
It has been 30 years since the adoption of the Charter for the rights and welfare for the African Child. Yet we haven’t been able to create a stable, conducive and encouraging environment for the African Child.
What plans do we have as a nation for our children? Is our educational system good enough such that any child can excel in any field and have the required support from the government?
It’s a food for thought.
